Im trying to light my scene and when I hit 7 on the keyboard Im supposed to see the effect of the lights. This only works for a couple of lights in my scene and the rest I cannot see unless I render. When I mean I cant see the lights, it means I cant see the effects of the lights. I can move the lights and put more intensity on them, but I cannot see the effects unless I render. Hopefully there is something that can fix this little problem.

there's a limit of lights that the opengl viewport can render - but you can use "Use Selected Lights" as a limited workaround

also, when you're lighting a scene, the opengl view isn't giving you a true representation of the lighting. It would be better to do an ipr and tweak your lights like that.

I use IPR a lot. I also know that the representation is not exact in open gl, I was just curious to know why the lights were not on. I fixed the problem though. I went ahead and hid some of the spotlights in my scene, so the lights I wanted to play with could be seen. I guess its just a personal preference.
