Hi all,

This is the second chapter of a simple, cartoony and slightly goofy version of Shakespeare's masterpiece that I've been working on for a while now. Any comments or suggestions are welcome.

If you want to see the first part, just change "Act2" in the URL to "Act1"

Thanks and enjoy,

Where were you about 50 Billion Years ago, when I had to actually READ this in High School? Really funny!

I like it.

My only crit is the lighting in the night scenes. Try backlighting the characters a bit more. This is the typical way to denote a dark scene, works for film, CG, cartoons etc. Usually it's done with a soft blueish light to to simulate the moon.

Thanks for the compliments, glad people liked it.

rabbit: I got an e-mail from a high school English teacher who said he was showing the 2 acts in his class alongside clips from Kenneth Branagh's, Mel Gibson's and Ethan Hawke's Hamlet movies. That made me laugh. Olivier must be rolling over in his grave.

Aaron: Believe it or not, there is a soft, bluish moon backlight. I guess it's not strong enough to show up well in the web version - maybe because Hamlet is blue already and the Ghost is completely black. You're right though, that's something I'll improve in the next act.
