thats a great sprite Rig tutorial from Mike Rhone.
Great set of beginner instructions and an easy to follow control system afterwards.

Google "overburn' ...I think that's what it's called now.
Download and install the script
Parent an emitter to the ass end of your missle
the speed it's traveling will determine your emission rate
open and execute the Overburn script
Choose 'smoke'
Move the Smoke group the script creates out of the camera veiw
Open Dynamic Relationship
Choose 'smoke1_trailParticle' and activate the emitter you created and parented to your missle.
smoke1_trailParticleShape will have a group of Extra Attributes for you to tweek to your heart content, as well as ramps for even more tweeking.
Good luck.

After you have set up your effect in this way, look at the connection that Overburn makes between the particles and fluids, how things are set up , and try and disect what it does, looking through the script it's self is a good way to see this....... it's a good start in understanding what you can do with fluid shaded particle.

Hello,

I've just started to use Overburn, and for some reason my renders are buzzing? Does anyone know why this is? How to fix?

Thanks!
