is there any way to break object into fragments?
i dont need particles, only object fragmented into a lot of parts(geometry).

a mesh bomb ? (under spacewarps)
or there was a plugin called fragile that would simulate breaking objects with gravity and suchs

Or by using the features found in the particle-object "PArray". You'll get fragments of the object with that, it's very very cool.
If you want geometry, as you say, and not particles, make a "Mesher" object (Create->Compound Objects->Mesher) to convert the particlesystem into good ol' geometry.
Extremly nifty.
Dig into the manuals for detailed setting-by-setting help on both types of objects.

There are 2 plugin for obtain your effect, but work with particles
- ParticleStudio.
- Mattewave.
There is TinkingParticles that for me is the best plugin for perticles and fragments but is very bvery very hard to understand....
I use ParticleStudio because is very easy to understand with some tutorial...

As mentioned before, you can use PArray to fragment an object then do a snapshot of that particle system to create objects or use Mesher. Meshbomb is a space warp that works similarly, but doesn't have the same level of control. Particle Studio and Thinking Particles have the most powerful fragmentation tools for MAX at the moment, but also look into the free plugin Fragile.

Hi Cane,
If you just want to break an object into its fragments, convert it in Editable mesh, go to sub-directory ''Vertex'', select all, click on break(buton) and your model is just a pile of faces. Maybe this can help you in some way, if not-:beer:
