View Full Version : Two Dielectric Interfaces

It has never been a problem to assign dielectric material to a simple surface. But yesterday i sat down and tried to make a glass with wine. I was frustrated... Testing, i got a wine didn't look like liquid. I read a documentation file about dielectric materials and found out that there are two different dielectric interfaces; that "to achieve physically correct simulations it's important to use the correct surface interfaces''. Finally i got some good results but think, i still don't fully understand whether to use IOR or IOR outside and etc...
So if you have any additional info, or you understand mentalray's dielectric interfaces leave your comments, please. :)
