View Full Version : Automatic slope turning off

Hi, I have a problem with certain elements in my rig.

When I key the rotation of these items, my F-curves are not smooth because when I key, 'Automatic slope' turns itself off and produces plateaus instead of a smooth spline.
It only happens on certain elements.
I wonder if anyone has encountered this and has found a fix? (I know I can manually fix each channel, but this would take forever)

not sure, but you might want to check the preferences, under the Animation Tab:

"when addin keys" see if it's set to "Current Preferences Settings", and that
"Interpolation for inserted Keys" is set to "Automatic (from neighboring keys)"

if the "when adding keys" is set to "Curve Creation Settings" xsi remembers the setting
for each curve, as they were created..

That seemed have fixed it.

Thanks for replying so fast as I was just about to rebuild the rig from scratch. You've saved me lots of work.

I just heard from our maintenance that apparently it's a known bug.
