In really new to vue 5. I know there's vue 5 xtreme for vue to maya scene transfer, but I would like to know how customizable is that software. Will the quality in rendering (sceneries) improve using mentalray? When doing animations, are the sky and water animations pre-animated (assuming I set up the animation in Vue) when I transferred the scene to Maya.
The reason for this is that I really love the sceneris in Vue (wow, just look at POTC:TMC island scene), but I hate the quality of characters rendered, I guess the Vue renderer is only good with scenery.
