I don't know which section to put this in, so please forgive me if this is in the wrong one...

Hey all. I'm new to the forum, using 3ds max7, and am currently stuck on a project for class. For the assignment I need to animate a crawling spider-like robot across a small obstacle course. I have the Robot all modeled out, all I need to do now is animate the legs so that they look similar to how a spider crawls. Are there any tutorials out there that would help me with this?

i would just go straight to the source. I dont think it matters which program your using...animation is animation. So check out real spiders and how they move like here:

Getty images under film>all you can find some cool animations of tarantula's.
