Girl & dragon (project name: bond)

its a cool idea, but I think that you should have them looking into eachothers eyes, not the girl looking up the dragons nostrils...

haha, when you say nosestrils it looks very ..different indeed. The idea was that she's looking at his cute nose...but maybe you are right. Ill try some other opportunities

looking at it again, I have another comment. perhaps if you want to express the bond betweem them more, you should take out the harness thing. It makes it look like the dragon is her prisoner. If you have a free dragon, it will become more apparent that the dragon wants to be there and has a positive bond with the girl.
I don't mean to rip apart your ideas, it all depends on where you want to go with the picture.

Lovely sketch, and a VERY cool concept! I definitely agree with Jackie though, she looks more like she's forcing the dragon to look at her than, like, a strong bond between the two. :)

I imagine when I look at this, the nose pointed very far down, and the eyes gazing into each other. You could do some GORGEOUS eye effects on that dragon that could look VERY cool! I do also agree that maybe the harness should go? Or maybe she shouldn't be holding it. Maybe you could have her hand on the side of the dragon's snout that we can't see, like she's caressing his cheek? :)

Right now I have ignored the dragon (thinking what to do with him)
and started coloring the girl and the background. any comments are welcome!
(yeah the arm looks like crap right now:P)

Wow, I *love* the colors you've used to shade her face and skin, she's very beautiful!! :D I cannot WAIT to see more progress of this piece, I have a feeling it's going to turn out awesome!! :D
