View Full Version : Naming conventions and VB overflow errors
Pixelmech 12-04-2006, 06:02 PM Is there some kind of rule that states you must name things like items or instances without spaces? I could not get a model instantiate to work, kept getting VB stack overflows. I was trying to name it Complete Tank. When I did it again and named it Complete_Tank it seemed to work. Coincidence?

Spaces can not be used in XSI scenes, additonally, it's a good practice to eliminate spaces and most symbols from file names and directory names. They can cause problems with many pipelines and tools. XSI tends to replace spaces with underscores in almost every situation.

Ah, well good to know then! That would explain some other errors I have been getting most likely as well. Thanks!
