I got started on this clip back in November for the 10 Second Club, but didn't get it finished until just recently....

(1.7 megs)

The character models are from a free collection by Eggington Productions. Thanks to Locoman (Roberto Etcheverry) for adding mouth shapes to the Eggington female bug model. I made the puppet character mouth shapes, did some eye and hand rigging work on both models, and threw together some quick props. Enjoy!

The right character is just slowly sipping his drink during the first part. His movement was kept really low-key, but perhaps it's a little too low-key for this render size.

The whip-action on some of the female's hand movements is intentional. I wanted a bit of "flair" to the way she does things compared to the lazy minimalism of the puppet guy.

Thanks for the comments! There are a few more pieces (older) on my web site: http://www.jb-av.com/

Not sure what you mean. Are you talking about the jitter in the puppet's right hand? I don't know what that's from. His hand is constrained to an IK target that's outside his main skeleton so that it doesn't move when his body moves...or at least it shouldn't move.

If you're talking about something else, please elaborate.

Thanks!
