CGTalk - Best SSS tutorial?

Hey ive been searching for a good SSS tutorial for a while now and havent realy found anything that works or explains itself well?

So i was just wondering if anyones come across one that actually works and actually tells you what each attribute does rather than just saying "change this attribute to this".

The one on the lamrug website is all you need to learn the basics.
