View Full Version : help with 3D textures in Maya

i know that you can animate these but i am not sure how...i have read many tutorials that uses 3D textures for the fact that you can animate them...can someone tell me how to do so with the cloud 3D texture and the stucco 3D texture? thanks for the help!

Not sure what type of animation your trying to do but if you go to the Place3dtexture node of cloud and stucco texture you can animate the translate rotate scale there. but if thats to basic you can animate any attribute on the texture itself. for instance amplitude on the cloud. hope that helps
