The help system describes a button that switches the time line from key mode to f-curve mode (Key / F-curve mode). it appears on as the leftmost button on the rightmost grouping of icons on the top of the timeline window. that button doesn't show up in my window (using the default animation config) i can't find that button anywhere on my interface. any clues why? how i might enable it? it would be cool to use function curves. :-)

thanks

I'm figuring all this stuff out today too. :)

Theres a little "key" icon on the upper right corner of your timeline--next to a few other icons.

Click it--and it toggles to the fcurve mode.

Even better... press the space bar while your mouse is in the timeline window and it will toggle between the TIMELINE / F-CURVES.

enjoy!
