View Full Version : Gods/Demons - character - azazel
azazel 03-23-2002, 01:37 PM My favourite demon - azazel, a character from Isaac Asimov's short stories. He is 2 centimeters tall. In his own world he is very insignificant person, but in our he is quite powerful. Important: He looks like we usually imagine devils, but he is not evil.
Here's the sketch:

Horns on his forehead should be blue and glowing, and he has also the tail, which is not present on the sketch.
3d version coming soon...

Do model some reference to him. So we are able to make out his tiny size.
Maybe sitting crosslegged on the tip of a devils fork.

Early modeling stages:

As a reference: maybe not devil's fork, but normal fork. Compared to the size of him it would be bad enough ;)

nice style but the arm torso connection is looking strange mabe it is part of the design but i would do it closer to the sketch and put the shoulder a bit down and make th breast muscle bigger
cause now it remains me to an f_cked up body rig

You really should alter the shoulders. Looks strange with them so far apart from the body. Push them downwards and inwards. He would look much better with that alteration.

Thanks, you're right. Shouldres like that are really pain in the ass when rigging, and they deform very ugly. Spent much time trying to make it well :( .

Fixed the arms, and now he is poseable (in limited range). Skeleton is rather simple... Have to do the cloth (simcloth or something) yet.
