See description in the illustration section. I made a mistake in the post.
Basically, I'm trying to understand the scale of the city and the relationship of the the parts together and against the Way.

The first of 2 pages of side view sketches of Axis city. My goal is to show the city as an evolution from one style and form to another. I'm also trying to figure out how to get Central city to look like a cube and sphere that form the jewel of Axis city. The only thing I've not tried to incorporate is the twisting half pyramid as a literal description. I prefer to look at it as an abstraction contained within Axis city.

Thanks for the kind words of encouragement. Rigt now, I'm working on finishing the design of Axis City. As it's been pointed out, the direction is complicated. I want the sense of a deep and evolving city; however, the execution of that idea needs to be simple, repeating, and visually detailed. So, I'm working to that end. The updated images are focusing on the described goal. Anyway, thanks for the support.

I've furthered my perception of Axis City. These 2 pages show my evlotion of Axis City. The Mobius Cross extends forward from the generator cubes. The cubes are bound to the buffer and docks. Axis Nader is shpaed like a densely packed tree that is contained within the shape of the cylinder. I forgot about the vanes behind Axis Nader. So, I've indicated them. I can't visualize the plasma tubes crossing throughout the length of the city. I've chosen to let the tubes enter into the buffer and disappear. Central City combines a cube and a sphere; however, I don't have the layer effect, yet. This will have to be resolved in the actual digital model. Lastly, Axis Thoreau and Euclid are at the end. Here, I'm debating between keeping them as separate cities or to interlock them into a common center. I simply know they must be an environment that Geshels would live in.

I've rotated the drawings to get a sense of the visual dimensions of each city within Axis City. No major comments for now. I like the direction. Need to emphasis the grandeur of Axis City.
