View Full Version : New modleing script up
martinc 02-13-2003, 05:12 AM Hey guys. I haven't had time to work on my short lately, so I posted a little script for ya.
It's basically a easy way to set your subdivision amount in Max similar to how it works in XSI. If you go above 0 iterations it will automatically turn NURMS on. Likewise, if you go to 0 subdivs it will turn it off.
It's not a big deal, but it should save a few clicks. :)

It pains me when nobody acknowledges a script, so allow me to say "thanks" for posting your work. I like the idea of an up-res/down-res workflow :)

very cool. a lot of "celebrities" who post on these boards. :applause:
Thanks Martin, nice script.
Very useful for Cartoony character modeling.
If your modeling more than one object though I would stick with the meshsmooth mod because you can control more than one object at a time with our blur script as well as add the MeshSelect Mod on top of the meshsmooth to speed up your viewport.
Cheers,
Oh, can't wait to see what scripts your working on next. :)
