performance-problems with intelmac (AE7.0)

Hello!
I've just installed after effects 7.0 on my intelmac and think its very slow. its like
walking trough glue...! i.e.: When you tip in text (in a textfield) it takes secs to display
the alternation!
Maybe its a emulation-issue? I need help!

There's an entire article on this at creativeCOW.net. I'm no Mac guy myself, but it all seems to hinge on a few Rosetta settings and some system patch that's not installed automatically. Give the article a spin and see if things work out for you.
