makes me want to read the story.
i like his expression. the whole relationship between fiserman and fish is great.
i suspect thats why i would recommend going CU on the characters and blurring the background as not so important.
good work

thank you bstout,
I think you are right, i didn't keep in mind that the character and the fish are more important than the background.
here is the story:
Little fish get big someday-
'God willing,' is the proviso-
But tossing small ones back to grow
Is rank stupidity, I say:
You may not catch again the fish let go today.
A tiny carp, hardly a fingerling,
Was landed by a fisherman.
"They all add up," he said. "At least it will serve
To start the meal as a small but nice hors d'oeuvre.
Let's pop it in the creel."
Then the carpling, poor thing, commenced a spiel:
"Why bother with me? I'm hardly equal
To half a good mouthful.
Just let me grow to be a carp, full-size,
And when you catch me next time, you can realize
A tidy profit selling me to some gourmet.
As I am now, I think it's fair to say
You'd need a hundred of my size to fill one plate.
One plate! Believe me, I'm not worth it. Wait!"
"Not worth it?" answered the man. "Nice try.
But, Fish, my little friend, however well you preach
You'll end up in the pan. Your speech
Was touching, but later tonight you'll fry."
A Yes-right-now is better than two You'll-get-it-laters:
The first, you've got; the second, maybe not.
