Hi, I've been modelling this character for a uni assignment for the last week and a half. Its supposed to be a baby dragon that I'll later make into an animation. We're allowed one smooth for this assignment, and theres no poly limit. Here's the idea sketch and the lastest render. Any feedback/critism would be really, really appreciated. Thanks.

This is the character smoothed:

And this is the character showing the lines:

Any critism/feedback welcome. I want to improve. Thanks

It's a good start, but I don't think the reference is being followed as much as it could be.

Where the top part and the bottom part of the mouth join, is too far away. They should actually be joined together. I think the snout is defined too much, maybe looking like it's seperate from the head. Also check the rear legs, they look a little chunkier in the reference. Remember he is a dragon and a good lift off the ground is what he needs to be able to fly, so some strong legs is needed.

Good exercise.

Just a comment, though. You are modeling the dragon as a biped, whereas the concept sketch looks like a quadriped. Which is it? It should be modeled in the proper pose...

Keep up the hard work!

It's a cute fella!

I think that as the other guys said, it should be modleed more as the reference. The face seems all right, it's the bottom part that needs a bit more work.
Cheers
