View Full Version : emit one particle from one obj element

Hello everyone!

I have the following situation:
I have one object consisting of lets say 100 elements. Now I would like that this object emits 100 particles, one particle per element. Then I would like to assign a Shape Instance Operator with the object from above as an instance. So, an example: Element nr. 1 emits particle nr. 1, and the instance for particle 1 is element nr. 1

Is it possible?

Use this script to explode Elements to objects - explodeElements_v0.22 (http://deko.lt/tmp/Forums/explodeElements_v0.22.ms)
And use this to create particles from objects array - http://www.scriptspot.com/bobo/mxs5/pflow/pflow__Chunks_Basics.htm

Thanks DeKo-LT,

Bobo's solution looks great. For the deconstruction of objects I use the detacher Soulburn script, since I use Boolean for creating custom window/glass cracks or chunks (like radial shatter), which need to be exploded.
