Hey there. I'm trying to rig a fairly high-res mesh (10k polys) and am working on a small jointed area. I'm finding it quite difficult to rotate my view around the finger while weighting the verticies because it centers the rotation around the pivot point of the whole model rather than the verts I have selected, so it takes quite a long time to reorient my view at my work area. While my arc/rotate tool is set to sub-object mode and it properly works around sub-objects in other parts of the stack, it won't in the envelope level under the skin mod.
Anybody know of a way to force your viewport to rotate around selected verts under this modifier?
