Title: rolling hills
Name: jeremy beauchamp
Country: United States
Software: 3ds max, Brazil r/s

This image was a test in lighting using a LDRI. The image was altered and created into a 3d environment which was part 2d and part 3d to get the reflections to falloff the car. The car itself was rebuilt from CAD data and made for subdivision surfaces. I used 3dsmax for modeling and brazil for rendering.

The car and environment I really like but i think the scale or perspective is wrong.

most disturbing thing for me are 2 shadows. i agree that trere should be one directional and another occlusion type, but your occlusion shadow type is too sharp and looks like black rectangle under the car. Anyway, nice work on integration, shading and reflection.

very cool image- it has an illustrative feel to it with the depth perspective distorsion and the colour scheme so i dont mind some posible anomalies compared to a real life scene-
works yout just FINE in the end:)!
4 stars from me, easyly could go to 5 aswell:)

Interesting composition. But indeed, the car is too big. The shadow around the front tire looks strange. But that's just a detail :-)

Good work on modeling lighting and environment work but as lots of people said the car size is way too big for the background and it's not a perspective issue, it's its scale. One thing that bothered me when i saw the image are the two shadows porblem as PeterSanitra said and your projected shadow does not respect the bumps of the grass. I can tell it was rendered on a flat grid and posted there it looks worng and fake. I think that one little thing would improve a lot your piece.

Never the less as i said in first place good model shading and environment work.

Keep it up

The car model looks nice, but I'm afraid it doesn't match the scene that its in.
The perspective, and the scale is wrong, and the shadow doesn't match the scene either.
