View Full Version : pfx artifacts - HELP!

hello there!

I'm working in a feature film production facility, dealing with over 150 character most of which have long and very extravagant hairstyles. We're using Pfx hair with MayaRender and we find some trasparency artifacts between two hairSystem and relative PFX.

I can't show completly my work for copyright problem... of course.
so... here you are some shots.

please! HELP ME!

I have try to change pfx-brush setting like shadowing and other...
I've some meaningful change with thinning and hairwidth setting in pfx attribute editor.
But this trasform completely the style of character's hair. No good!:sad:
Other settings change in PFX-shading has no successfull reply.

where is the problem???
Any ideas?

hi

try rendering options, expand paint effect rendering options, check the button marked "oversample"
