Title: Thanos
Name: Glen Angus
Country: United States
Software: Photoshop

This was a fun piece that I did for Marvel.
It was my interpretation of what it would be like had Thanos
been able to muscle his way into our game,

I've hid a few relics within the piece- Hope you can find him.
He's one of my favourite Marvel villains.

Done entirely in PS

Regards,
Gangus

Hmmm! relics you say, I've never really read any mavel comics before but I think I see one. Captain America's Shield, behind Thanos's head! Nicely done!

There is proberly another one in Thanos's hand as well, but like I say I don't really know much about Marvel! :)

Aw thanks guys, Glad the responses are so positive - I enjoy my Marvel work every bit as much as my Victory Gal or Filling Valhalla series. voters never seem to take to it as much, but I feel I have a great group of supporting folks who are avid comic fans.

Rudds: Glad you feel I've captured the Marvel feel- bang on with Caps shield. Foolish mortal to
try and get in the way of Thanos :)

EhsanD: Sorry dude, I've been overly prolific lately- I'll try and slow down posting so many pieces. Glad to see your work taking a cool direction- I'll have to right you about your next piece that you are working on.

antodonnell: It honors me that I can inspire other artists. Thanks for writing this :)

G-FLUX: Thnx for the stars dude!! I try to put in as much as I can on anything I post here- the more stars the more people I can potentially inspire. Glad you like it.

Thanks to you guys writing in- as a bonus for your support I'll throw in another super villain treat.

Hope you like!
Respectfully,
Gangus

I take it you were the artist responsible for the load screens in Marvel: UA. Everybody did a commendable job developing that game, I really enjoyed the previous XML2 from Raven as well. I loved the splashes for this game in particular, I spent awhile looking them over in detail through the in-game reviewer to check out the work. The only one I didn't care so much for was the Spider-Man because the costume texture ran over the entire body and I thought the black lines should have been raised/added over the texture to distinguish them. But like I said, I've really admired all the screens to the game and think you all did some considerable justice to the source franchises.

Now that I see this it does beg the question why Thanos wasn't included (I'm assuming having both him and Doom presented irreconcilable complications for the story, and/or perhaps they'll reserve him as the main villain for any future title), but the fact you did a splash anyway is excellent.

It did take me a couple looks to notice Cap's shield and Thor's hammer, and of course he has death lurking in the background. Again, great justice to the source material it's clear why you were given the job. I just hope it's selling well so we can see a lot more sequels and improvements around the actual gameplay.
