I am looking for some newbies to create a short cartoon animation in 3ds Max preferably, i say newbies because i feel it would help people who are just starting out or who have a relatively good knowledge in using Max, I think that if there are enough people who would do this with me we would gain alot of experience as we can help each other out and set out targets for us to achieve etc. Anyone could do this as we basically need someone who can model basic characters which would be shaded using the ink and paint shader so it doesnt need to be detailed im looking for a south park sort of look, we need a story a good short story if we all post a short story in , then we could pick the best or even pick the best parts out and try to combine them into one story, environments just basic houses trees etc. and because were using ink&paint we can model basic stuff because we can aim for a 2d-ish look, someone who can animate or anyone who can animate smoothly would be very usefull and finally we can all record certain speech of ourselves talking so that each character has different characteristics in their speech.
I need as many people as possible as we can all do certain things and see which would work with what.
If any other experience users want to do this then please reply but im not sure whether you would do this or not well its up to you and would be very helpful.
Anyone who is interested doesnt just need to stick to modelling/animation/sets+props it would be good if you could do all of them or some of them it would make it easier all around..
Thank You for taking your time if you have read all of this and i hope i get enough replies to make this thing work.
Regards.

Your right they would be...but im noy looking to do that-a basic scaling animation on the mouth like a torus would be sufficient enough (look at south park-not that they use a torus or anything but it would look ok)...

Well i have asked my friend who will help me out he is drawing some reference images right now and i have got someone else on cgtalk who is willing to help so i will add you to my buddy list and the next time your on and im on i can speak to you then or if not please reply.
I am currently writing a script and hope to have finished it within the next couple of days i think its going to be a combination of sci-fi and comedy unless anyone else has better ideas maybe not fully focused on the comedy aspect as i think it will be rather hard to pull that off but we can have a little element in it.
In the mean time if you could design a sci-fi character totally from your imagination and post it here or on your website it would be very helpful for me.
Thanks for you reply.
Regards.
