Massive Entertainment is a premier producer of games and interactive entertainment software for a worldwide market. Its highly acclaimed PC games series 'Ground Control’, has established Massive Entertainment as one of the most innovative developers in the real time strategy genre. The company was founded 10 years ago and our studio in Malmö (Sweden) has since then grown to include over 80 creative and talented individuals all working on the games of the future. In 2002 Vivendi Universal Games (today Vivendi Games) acquired the company and together Massive and Vivendi Games are now working on the top entertainment titles of the future. The next game is to be released 2007 and is called “World in conflict”. “World in Conflict”, was recently nominated to and won numerous awards at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles.

Massive is currently expanding our in house film team that’s dedicated to deliver AAA digital cut scenes and teaser cinematics for present and future titles.
We are currently looking for an experienced 2D artist with a passion for film and preferably with more than one area of expertise. It is essential that you are a self-starting, brainstorming problem solving team-player with tons of fantasy.
Required qualifications:
*Excellent communication skills
*Excellent skills in conceptual drawing, matte painting
*Storyboard artist
*A passion for Sci-Fi and action movies
*Must relocate to Malmö region, Sweden
Technical requirements:
*Photoshop guru
*Basic to intermediate knowledge about the following applications is a plus:
- Maya
- Z-brush
- Lightwave
Additional bonus skills:
*Character or hardware designer
*Texture painting and shading
*Have worked with movies before
*Pyrotechnics experience
*Military/heavy machinery experience
*Photography skills
Of advantage is EU citizenship and Swedish language skills. Please note that applications without demo samples are not considered.
