Worked fine for me.
Kinda quiet is all. But I enjoyed and I, again, learned something.

Keep it up Terro!

Thanks

I decided to go with a smaller video size to compenste for the file size. The lenghts of the movie is almost the same as Part 1, but the file is a faster download. I was a little worrie about my monthy bandwith limit if each file was to be 30 megs.

Glad you like it.

Any idea why I don't get any sound out of your second video? The first video has sound and all my apps with audio-Cubase, mp3 stuff, dvd's,etc still get sound like they should. For some reason it's just your second video! :-(

UPDATE: Solved the problem with low sound levels myself. I imported the .mov video file into Cubase SX 2 and added a compressor and eq, boosting both about 10 dB. Only thing is, I don't think I can export the file and resave it with the normalized volume levels. So I'll have to play it back in Cubase.

Oh well...

I'l work on it with the next video. I'm just starting out with the video recording and even purchased a new mic for this video. It worked fine for me when I listened to it in play back, but it was on a head set.

I wish I could help you , but till I learn the in and outs of quiktime I'm useless, lol. The other folks were able to hear the audio. I used the H.264 codec to encode.

EDIT: I just downloaded it on my work PC and the volume works fine over here. Make sure your volume controls aren't on low or muted.

I record digital multitrack audio with Cubase SX 2, RME soundcard, powered studio monitors, etc(home recording studio stuff), so yes-my sound IS set up correctly. (Twelve years of experience here! )

What kind of mike are you using and how is it plugged in? Off hand, it sounds like your mic needs a pre-amp to boost the sound level. Who knows.

If I can find a way to export the wav with the higher/proper sound levels, I'll gladly email it to you.

Cheers

Yup, it has to be something on your end Improv, everything seems to be working fine. I just had my friend check it on his machine.

The only thing that bugs me , is that the first video worked fine for you and not the second. The first Video had bad audio due to a crappy mic.

I use a Logic Headset /mic to do these tutorials. I'll check the plugs today just in case they are in the wrong holes, but if they were I woun't get a recording.

What sound card are you using? If it's a SB card, don't they come with a software mixer? If so, check your levels.
