View Full Version : PoseMixer
isome 02-11-2003, 06:58 PM Ok, maybe I've missed something in the Manuals but how do I set up facial morphs? I mean, I have my morphs, but where in the heirarchy do i place my PoseMixer Object? I mean, what's the overall workflow for this?

We're working on a more robust tutorial for Posemixer, but this should at least get the ball rolling for you...

It goes something like this:
[Object to be deformed]
--Posemixer
[Default object]
[Null with poses]
--Pose1
--Pose2

ok, does the base pose have to be in the same coordinate space as my model? b/c when i make PM a child of my object, the obect jumps to where the base pose is....

Generally you will want to base ALL poses in the same coordinate systems...
It's easy enough to do: Create a Null and make it child of the model. Zero out all of its coordinates. Now, pull the Null out and use it for the coordinate system (or parent) you'll base all of the poses off of.
Any clearer?
