too bad that technicolor|vfx got no mention of their involvement yet again. a few of the visual elements that are in the movie ( and a few were shown on the trailer ) were provided by us ( ie, the car riding into the city, tom riding on horse to the medieval castle.. a number of star fields, some set extensions, etc. )

i had little involvement on the flic as i was hired at the company when they were wrapping up, but i know that a few guys had spent a lot of time on it. atleast the individuals get a credit on the movie.

yea, the people involved with the vfx in this film definitely deserve a around of applause. seriously, the most beautiful thing I've ever seen on film.

I actually just got back from seeing this movie.
Darren is a unique director to say the least.
This was so visually stunning, I don't want to give away anything,
but I absolutely loved the shot of the car heading to the city,
and the horse heading to the inquisition.
I also was impressed by the sequence following where he drank the sap from the tree.
The nebula sequence was pretty amazing too.
I have to admit, throughout the film, I understood the message, but I found myself often times not sure what exactly I was watching, but that also was in part because some jackass behind me was on her cell phone the entire time, because obviously she didn't realize it wasn't a movie starring Paris Hilton.
