Here's a little update. First i put black patches behind the panal gaps,

i also am experimenting on the headlights... what do you think? good or bad?

the ones i have now arent bitmaps, i put the chrome material on
the mesh behind the lense, and put raytrace on the lense w/ a bump map (checker 's 20 X4)

I'm not too happy about my side mirrors, there "ok" but im going to keep working on them:

i didn't catch it untill after i hit post reply, but i also added refraction to the headlight lanse using the same material i made for the bump

looking cool sofar,,, lets see some wheels on it,, =D

maybe add more tiling to the checker bump,, and make it more white,, maybe less reflective,, I've been meaning too try out the checker texture to, keep at it,, your modeling is super cool.

Soljarag

you asked for it, you'v got it :) here are some wheel's i started on, they arent nearly done, the tread is a bump map, there is no chance im going to use that in my final render :) im modeling the tread, but its not quite done yet, i do agree that the lense doesnt look quite right, still need some tweaking on them

make them bigger,,, hehehe

cool Soljarag,,, hmmm,, I like them older chrome ones,, that have recessed spokes and lugs,,, put some big fatty ones in the back end of it.

keep at it,, I love that car material.
