Hi, I am currently studying Computer animaiton at university and am working on my final project for year 2.

I posted it up to see what you guys think of it so far.

The idea is to make it look more arty rather than look as if it is CGI.

The animation was created in 3DsMax5 and then worked over with filters in adobe photoshop.
The background will also have a wish washy effect by the end also i was think about a partical spray coming from the hands as they travel arround.

There will also be another person in the scence eventually, and the one in the clip is a woman and I am yet to introduce the male.

I havn't added any lights to the scene yet, so the lighting is the default one.

The animation is hand animated using a video as reference to work from.

Please Please reply with some feedback so that I know what to change and what bits you like.

Cheers

Karl

Looking good so far i think it needs some references on the floor so you know if the camera is moving. The filters make the model look a bit dark so perhaps experiment with them a bit more. Cant wait to see the other model in it Im sure I'll cream my pants over it.

think the idea is quite interesting and good...

I'm not sure the filter is so good...you should try to tweak it a little bit more...and maybe make it lighter...

you know if it's watercolor for example to have the background almost white...and the character also more "pastel"

I don't agree with ponographic animation but as this goes this is a good example, you might want to check out this site for some good reference http://www.sexybatman.com, hope all goes well,
