just take a screen shot of the open GL render
that foot looks amazing. nice work..
I notice an weird edge on the side.. I assume u intended for it.. I might straighten that out
the thumb is to small. I think its needs to be much more substantial.
keep it up. I love to see un smothed wires...
just take a screen shot

I love the style you're going for.. it's really kind of hard to give you any imput until we see the entire thing put together to see if anything doesn't fit.. i can't find anything wrong offhand, looks great!
Here are the wire frames
I also made the thumb a bit bigger and fixed the geomitry in the heel.

Well here's the lower body of Carl. I really need some feed back on the pants. I don't know if I should change them or what I should do any help would be great. I was thinking I could add some wrinkles to the pants.
I was alos wondering if any one knows where someone could find a tutorial on making wrinkles in clothing I seem to be finding it quite difficult.

I cant really tell yuo any turtorials,
but on Wings 3D what I do to make wingles, I select the spots where i want wrinkles and hit 'smooth' and itll give me more faces to work with, and then i just bump them out and bend them.

This may help...

its a tutorial on modeling a head, but it has a great part about adding wrinkles to a face. You might be able to apply those skills to the clothing.
As far as the pants, i think carl needs an ass. He's looking pretty boxy around the thighs as well. the feet and hands are GREAT.
Hey thanks for the tutorial and I'll assify Carl tomarrow and perhaps add some wrinkles. Thanks for the suggestions.

I love the style! Very cool. :)
One little nit, his legs look too boxy. Can ya round them out a bit?

with all the high detail in the gloves and the boots, maybe that should be carried on through the pants. Maybe adding pockets, and extra pockets, like kaki pants. Or maybe some armor plates on the hips.
I was thinking about adding more things, but when I looked at it I thought the character would be easier to rig and animate if I kept the pants simple. I'm also trying for a cartoon look it's for a funny 3 min short film.
If I was going for a more serious character I would deffinatly add pockets and other definitions.
Thank you for the suggestion. :)
Here's what Carl will look like at least to the point where im happy with the proportions. I have to detail him a bit more.
I really need the crits so please don't hold back. I am going for a cartoonie look. I really appriciate the suggestions.

if you're gonna be animatin the guy, then i'm worried about how close his hands are gonna be to the floor when he's walkin/running ??
at the mo.. i really like the style an proportions you got goin on, but i can see him moving like a gorilla
i'm sure you've prob thought it all through
keep it up
