DOF !!! 200min and 1200 max samples (yes yes I know way too much *g*) aperture 20.6 <- turned out way too heavy :D

WOW! thats a hefty render time..... looks like it was worth it though, has a nice Fight Club, David Fincher look to it. very nice

it is of course beautiful, but it does beg one question.
Why did you use GI when the lighting is pretty simple and there are no discernable reflections or environment to match up to??
Seems like this would be a 20 min render with a much simpler ray tracing technique, so why the heavy guns??? And how did you survive without access to your computer for nearly 3 days?
Nothing detracts for the fact it is a nice a piece of abstraction though. Nice work.

That is the one and only question everyone keeps asking, without getting an answer... actually the model was for a little contest, about just extruding some senseless polygons... and it is modelled really bad :bounce:

umm...interesting
I like the green material, the application of DOF is good in this picture.

Was there more to this model, are you just highlighting a portion? What is the background comprised of? I think it looks wonderful, and uidentifiable heh heh
