To my eye the base of the central column needs to be a bit thicker especially on the left hand side, it looks like its leaning slightly which takes away the weight of the column. The light blue bit of rock at the bottom left draws the eye away from the focal point. With so many waterfalls around there'd be lots of mist and spray behind the central column; this would give the picture more depth and help the column stand out more and appear imposing. Are you planning to put any kind of lake in at the bottom?
Its a nice start though and the colours work well, its a good choice of sky as well.
Hope these comments help,
D

Aww that's so nice !!
I think the bottom of the composition is quite empty and it distracts attention too much, as said South-paw with the light. I don't know what you could do.
Mmm why not add some birds flying around ? It lacks maybe a bit of "life" in the painting.

Well that's better !
But I'd have seen more "little" birds, like if they're flying far away to give more depth to the scene, and also in only one side of the pic. Maybe you could chnage also their position.. why not turning them around the middle rock OR flying to the horizon ? It's up to you ;)
Otherwise it's nice ! :)
or a dragon, or a flying vehicle... something bigger than birds would imply an even bigger scale...
just an idea ;)
