If are you refering to proportions I donīt understand..., I made with blueprints and itīs exact, I see it seems to be "flat", so wide and not too tal, but the car is that way, itīs not cartoon..., anyway thankīs for the crit.

Better scrap those blueprints and find some better ones, that car is squished! I do like the wheels though, great job on that.

the car IS good, just to be real, the car simply isnt pictured good in the angle you gave us, If you did it with blueprints it should be fine, but at that angle it looks crunched up.

BTW mind if I snatch the blue prints from ya? If you could attack blueprints I would appreciate it.

One reason it looks out of proportion is the animation doesn't show how far the backend extends beyond the wheels. I think it looks good. Just my thoughts on the subject. I'd like to test drive one anyway.

I agree with all of you guys, the car seems squeezed (?), but I canīt find where is the problem, as I said I used blueprints, itīs maybe the angle of view or the focus, donīt know so far.

Thankīs for the crits although itīs finished and canīt rebouild nothing :(

just one thing for the animation. leave the camera in the last position for a bit more. So it doesnt just snap back to the start or end so fast.

and the car looks nice. whether it looks cartoony or not... i like it.

good job :applause:

Can you show us the blueprints?
I agree with everyone else. You did a great job on the car, but it is too short and too high and not wide enough; like the pictures you used were distorted.

It seems really accurate, Iv'e seen a few up close, and you have nice lines, and everythign is flowing nicely. It's just the shape is, well now we are repating ourselves.

Well, If you want you can view the blueprints here:

As it was very dificult to me to find them (because they are not on www.suurland.com where they supposse to be), I started to model it without them and then I remodeled all that was wrong and continued from there, they seem to be OK, no distorsion at all but..., who knows :)

Okay, I think I know what the problem was. I checked the properties of .avi file and found the dimensons were 500x400 pixels (which is a 1:1.25 ratio). You probably rendered the frames originally at 640x440 (which is a 1:1.33 ratio) or something like that. And then when you made the AVI in a seperate program, you added the text overlay, adn must have accidentally streched (or squashed) the ratios for the composite. I took your file and ran it through AFX and uesd the stretch function to force it back to 320x240, problem solved. :)

I knew it had to be something like this, because everything is lined up perfectly, it was just too short, and too tall. The thing that tipped me off was the fact that you showed the front of the car. It too wasn't wide enough, by the same proportion that the car appeared not long enough.

That's it, I'm changing my name to Columbo.

LOL
how funny... cause I do like the current proportions in the .avi, great style, but it looks great. Keep up the fabulous work.
Cheers,
