View Full Version : Making MeshSmooth iterations Invisible
SuperMax 02-11-2003, 09:19 AM Greeting
Im working with an object that I just meshsmoothed.
Im having troubles finding the vertices and Edges with all these lines everywhere.
Can i put meshsmooth on but make the interation linesinvisible on the object, so I can only see the Edges abd vertices that i work with?

i want the meshSmooth result to be there while im working on it. i just dont want all those meshSmooth lines everywhere.
I just want to see the Control Mesh that i work with
i think you want to turn off edged faces then, right click over the name of the viewport and untick it there.

I would say, turn show end result on. Go to your modifier stack, go to editable mesh modifier, click on "show end result on" and your done. If you click vertex mode in editable mesh mode, you'll see the original vertexes, with meshsmooth applied to it. You can also make a reference, and apply meshsmooth to it.

use F4
when modeling with meshsmooth
F4 will become your friend

under the mesh smooth modifier, there should be an area that says 'render value', just select the amount of iteration under this section and it will smooth the mesh out only when you render it, so its there, but only visible when rendering, so you only have to mess with the models cage
