Hi all!

Well this is the first time posting my artwork, I've been browsing for a few weeks and love the forum! Quite the kickass comunity going on here :applause:
Anyway this is an animation I did last year, it's finnished and I probably won't be changing anything at this point, but I still really want to hear your critiques and insights on what I can do to improve, all constructive comments totally welcome!

sorry man. But there are so many new post thats its easy to miss one. Anyways, I thought it was pretty good, the animation wasn't bad. His legs seemed a little stiff while he was flying. But more importantly I think you have a pretty cool character.

Thanks SGT.Squeaks, good notes, glad you liked the char :)

Coincidentally in the animation I'm working on now the main character is named Squeeky (he's a squeaky toy), madness!

Anyone else have comments?

I loved. I thought it was cute, original and simple. The flight, landing and walking animations were great! The only thing I would suggest is somehow beef up ( sorry I can't think of any other way to describe it) the way he eats the flame! It was so sudden that I had to watch it again to figure out what he was really trying to do. Other then that it was very, very nice.

On top of other people's comment, I really liked the "fright" in the end. It is done really well!! That's what my dog looked like when he got a fright! :scream:

The tail animation is done extremely well too. One thing... the rigging for the wing is pretty good and if it isn't too low poly, I think it will look even better. Just a suggestion...

Nice work...

Thanks to everyone who's posted feedback so far :)

TheHellMaster: What is it about the feet you didn't like? Just not well enough defined? Bad movement?

Rukuwa: Yes the wings are the first thing I'd want to redo on this character... for some reason the rig just never worked quite the way I wanted, low polys was part of the problem.

Does anyone know of a good tutorial for rigging wings? or better yet just some anatomical reference for bat/bird wings?

There was what I am hoping one started in the NewTek forum. I don't remember where but when I find the thread at home tonight I'll pass it on. However the beauty of this on is that the webbing is done with LW's MotionDesigner but it shuld still (if hes writting it) give you a way to proceed.
