Hi,
This is my first time posting my work (anywhere). I'm working on a character, a girl who rides a giant bear. Here's her head (I've done quite a bit with the body and the bear, but not enough to post them just yet). I've never animated sub-ds so I'm not positive what the problem spots might be, and I'd appreciate feedback on that. Let me know what you think, especially if there are parts of the face that are not proportionate with respect to semi-reality.

Looking good so far although a bit weird without the eyeballs and eye-sockets in place. I've never done heads modelled using sub-ds before so I can't really comment on that. The basic human head shape seems okay though. If you're stuck on proportions, you could always get yourself a book on drawing human heads - but it all looks okay to me.

Hey, looks like it's getting somewhere... it would help alot if you posted some prepro so we know what you're trying to accomplish. It really sounds like a cool idea... are you going to do a still or are you going to animate it?

Thanks for the input. I'll put the eyes in very soon and attach the head to the body so you can get a better idea of what's going on. I'll see if I can find some good sketches of my character to post. I do intend to animate it (I can think of few cooler things to animate than a huge bear with a girl on its back tromping over civilization). I plan on cell-shading it, so I'm not going for detail as much as proportion with style.
