CGTalk - search active object?

hi,

for a long time there was the very nice function in the object-manager which could show you the currently selected object in the hierarchy (search active object). especially helpful if the object was hidden deep in the hierarchy.

I cant find this function in the new objectmanager in the new release. where has it gone.
