Hello

I'm rendering out in video post, and I lose my audio for some reason when I render out from the video post.


I have a movie I'm pullin into Video post, its mixed in the the goodness, and when I got to render it out as a quicktime sorenson 3. it renders out but the audio that i had on my files are gone.

I've checked all around but can't seem to figure out why I lose my audio or how to turn it on.

anyone know how to remedie this?

if you are using a mov or avi as an input in VP, then the audio is ignored. That's by design. You are loading a video track there, not an audio one.

To get the audio, you can load the same avi/mov or a separate wav in the max scene audio track. VP will use it and you will get the audio.

If you need more processing than this, you have to rely on other applications. VP is mainly for video stuff.

Thanks for the info, I'm going to add thame movie to the audio.
