View Full Version : Mystery Command R10 tutorial
Continuumx 11-20-2006, 01:05 AM So I am watching the R10 Tutorial on headmodeling of the butterfly (very good by the way!) and this during one of the unnarrated sequences pops up.
I have never seen this command window before. What is it, and what is the keycommand for it??? Seems like a great point input window that is really quick, but I can find no info on this.

It is a read out of a point co-ordinates.
Just double-click on the point and enter the relevant value.
Cheers, Alan.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that you need to be in point mode with a Move tool selected.
Cheers, Alan.

Thanks Alan and Kai, I was not in the correct tool. The move tool must be selected. Is this a new feature? I never knew this one was there.

no--its been there. You can do the same thing if you double click on a spline point.

I found it by accident a while ago, can't remember which version.
It drove me nuts trying to figure out what I did in the first place.:)
I'm pretty sure it's been there since at least R7, the first version of C4D I got.

I've known and used that window for ages. But it showed tangents too.
What happened to the tangents? I'm still waiting for R10 to arrive.

The Tangents are still there but only for Splinepoints. mesh-vertices dont have tangents.

Oh, I see. I've used that with splines, not with polygon points.
Thanks for the clarification.
