Well, the model is too early to crit on, but the painting looks a bit confusing to my eye. I don't how it is for anyone else, but I had a hard time sorting out just what it was I was looking at. I couldn't tell whether or not that was the full body of a character, or a robot head, or what.
After looking at the model I realized just what the picture and where the character was in it, but still, you might want to tweak the proportions or perhaps even the perspective of your drawing so that objects are easier to distinguish.

This is not my drawing. It's a painting my the world famous italian artist Giorgio De Chirico. But I take your confusion as a compliment! His twisted slant on perspective facinates me.
I really want to make a piece that avoids the confines of perfect mathmatical perspective, as De Chirico avoided the Renisance lessons of real life 1 and 2 point perscetive on the canvas.
here a quick test of another painting

and here the story boards for the entire peice.

Cdinic,
These look good so far. What software are you doing this in?

I have the modeling almost done for another painting. no idea how I'm going to get the lighting to look like as it does in the painting.

I just threw bones in the head super fast to move the head down. I'll do it correctly tomarrow.
Textures are going to be a blast. I can't wait to get into painting them.
I hand in the proposal wen. Hope it goes over well. Any comments on the boards themselves?

cdinic,
I think the models look good so far. I looked at your story boards and think this is a very interesing project.
I studied Dechirico back when I was in school. I liked a lot of his work.
I am wondering how you are going to handle the panning transitions between the paintings?
I hope your proposal gets approved.
