I like the image very much, its almost photorealistic.
few things ruin the final effect, on my opinion:

- the shadows r too blue, where they should be a more brown tone

- the big lower window is not up to the rest of the image, it lacks detail, resolution and mood

besides that, looks great. very good wall texture, love those cracks near the door, as love the upper windows. not so sure about that inscription stone above the door thou.

Great job!

I think the shadows are way too harsh. Maybe tone them down a little.
Other then that, nice! :)

Hi Q_B your observation is fantastic....I ve always had trouble wih that disinction in shadow color.
I went back and saw if JonM

's location was listed as it makes a huge difference for where you are at...
see...generally we all think the sky color is same...VRAY has a cheap blue...MAX% is just plain white...and Brazils come s real close....I was baffled that the same house in Mexico would really have different shadow colors that say one in canada.
Now I ve seen some ral hot days in San Francisco....but the shadows always have that Blue tinge.
now I see stuff im Mumbai(India) and Bingo...the blue is gone...they look more brownish.
now theres some thing weird going on here...I look up..SKy looks blue...not brown.....But this whole Skylight theory goes oute the door when you start seeing brown shadows.....

hehehe...looks like Nature is still mightyahead of GI solutions..
Kuds to you man...good thing you noticed.
(NY is in the same hemisphere as SF so not quite sure if this is truly an issue)

Thanks guys! I purposely made the shadows a bit blue, becasue that what I noticed they are, but I guess it depends. I will tone down the density a bit and maybe that will help, we shall see :p
