I made an animation using Taron's ZBornToy for rendering.

The model (by Fabrizio Bortolussi) has been sculpted in ZBrush and rigged/animated in Lightwave 3D. The rendering has been made in ZBornToy, simply exporting a Depth/Color map sequence.

I'm still working on the surface.

I'm really impressed by how fast I could reach such a result considering it comes from a 2D animation software on a "really fast to generate 3D stuff" base.

Each frame took about 8 seconds to be rendered in Afterf/x on my system (an AMD Athlon 64X2 Dual Core Processor 4400+).

Another test render. 5 minutes for 80 frames, different lighting.
