Hello, my name is Crystal Pare, and I am currently attending Towson University majoring in Computer Art/ Graphics, and am anticipating graduation in December of 2006 with a cumulative GPA of 3.8, and will be looking for a full-time position as either a 3D Artist or a Conceptual Artist around the beginning of January.

During my enrollment at Towson University, my focus has been on designing characters in hopes of obtaining a career as a 3D or conceptual artist, and I hope that you would consider me as a viable asset for your team.

My previous employment includes working for a company called OptiMetrics up in Bel Air, MD, from May 30- July 28, 2006 as a Graphic Artist/Designer where I worked with programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Word for the development of promotional / advertisement media for the corporation, including but not excluded to: web layout design, post-card design, cd covers/label design, application interface design, etc.

I also worked with a company called EarthData, International in Frederick, MD during the months of May through late July, 2005 as a Photoshop Intern where I strictly worked with Photoshop for the correction of photogrammatic material for their GPS tracking systems.

I desire a 3D or Conceptual artist position, as for my entire life I have always had a strong passion for games and for using the digital arts as my medium. I have always aspired to be a conceptual or 3D artist for a video game corporation. I am also a hard, dedicated worker, and a fast-paced learner.

My talent has impressed friends, coworkers, and professors. Bridget Hill, my supervisor from my internship at EarthData, International thought very highly of my work and even led me to instruct other incoming interns on how to manipulate the image data. Alex Menkes, my supervisor from the ADASHI team at OptiMetrics, was disappointed that my position couldn’t be maintained due to funding, and stated in an application to another employer:

“Crystal Pare blew us away with both her technical capabilities and imaginative design. She is proactive and takes charge of projects requiring little or no supervision.” - Alex Menkes

Again, I look forward to hearing from you soon, and I will be anticipating your response! E-mail me at DragonTU84@yahoo.com if interested.
