hmm.. yeah ignore backface toggle should do the trick.. you can always go into xray mode (alt+x) and work withit that way.. otherwise the edges turn fine for me .. even if backface toggle is off. so i'm not too sure

This has happened to me even with Ignore Backfacing turned on. Sometimes it behaves, and sometimes it doesn't.

If it's vexing me too much, I'll just select the backface edges and hide 'em.

I've never tried xray mode. I'll have to give it a go.

xray mode sounds cool, thanks for the tip

Here's how I usually tackle that:

While in edge turn mode, click the edge. If it doesn't turn, undo, and click again. Rinse, repeat. Optionally you can rotate the viewport around inbetween retries. At some point it will flip :)

this is a way to handle the problem, but donīt you think a proggy for around 4000 bucks should be able to do such simple things on itīs own? Especially when there is a function that says: 'ok buddy I will ingore the backside'. I dont want to attack you, this is more to the discreet guys and girls who are working on this proggy for more then a week now and such simple functions are STILL buggy.
