Just bought a Dell 2407 LCD monitor for our Mac G5 with ATI radeon 9600XT graphics card and the quality is pretty disappointing. Particularly text in Quark but also the C4D interface and through Photoshop. It looks as though its not being anti-aliased.

Any suggestions/advice would be great cos Im praying we haven't wasted our money.

Thanks in advance.

Why would it be antialiased? You should be using the white dvi connection, not a blue vga one

Thanks for the reply. To be honest it wasn't me that set it up so Im not sure which cable was used. I wasn't even aware that there was a choice. I will check when I get to the studio first thing monday.
