Title: The Entertainer
Name: David Hagemann
Country: Germany
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop, ZBrush

I used 3dsmax and Zbrush for modeling, Zbrush and Photoshop for texturing, 3dsmax Mental Ray for Rendering and Photoshop for Post.
I wanted to make a characteristic looking type of a Entertainer.

That's quite nice! I like the overall feel and the truely intense translucency. :D

However, the one thing that kind of kinks the impression is the ear! It could do with a little more expressive shape. Either more "real" or simply more stylized. It's in some kind of inbetween state! All of the internal shapes of it are very leveled or flat and and the earlobe is thought-up well, but too weak, somehow. If you simply rotated the entire ear a little more inwards, so that it doesn't come so flat out of the head and you would give a more pronounced flap to the upper rim of the ear, you would get a stronger shape into it. This would benefit the whole image!

It's overall really pleasant to look at and mildly disturbing! Just the way I like it! I almost want to see the shoulder of a big guy in a suit next it, as if he had his hand inside the puppet! That would make it truely creepy! :applause:

thx all :)

@Taron
You right with the ear. If i would ever touch it again i would make the ear bigger and more pronounced like you said...that would fit much better to the overall look of the head.

Disturbing and inspirational, that is what it should look like ;)
