Ok I found it... This should be quite useful to alot of people...
In Render Globals, you can now save several snapshots of your global rendering settings (a preset) and apply that snapshot at any time. You can also define a default preset to be used every time you create a new scene.
To save and load preset settings for Render Globals:
1
Open the Render Globals window (Windows > Render Globals).
2
Change the settings to suit your needs.
3
Choose Presets > Save Settings as Preset.
4
Type a name for the preset in the box that displays.
5
When needed, you can load the preset you saved. Choose Presets > Load Preset > and the name of the saved preset. The current Render Globals settings are overwritten by the settings you stored in the preset.
6
To delete unwanted presets, choose Presets > Delete Preset > and the name of the preset.
How and where presets are stored
All presets are written to a presets subdirectory of the directory defined by MAYA_APP_DIR. This is the same place where your prefs and scripts directories reside.
The preset files are MEL scripts and are editable. The files are named according to a convention—the node type to which the preset can be applied and the presetName specified:
nodetypePreset_presetName.mel.
Limitations
·
If a node's attribute is the destination of a connection, that attribute is not written out as part of the preset if the node's settings are saved as a preset.
·
If a node's attribute is the destination of a connection and a preset is loaded onto the node, that attribute is not modified when loading the preset.
